M's Wedding Flowers

The Farm

M’s Veggie Stand was founded in the summer of 2009. It began as a conversation on how to cover college costs that were not covered by financial aid. My grandfather suggested the idea of doing a farm stand. So in April of 2009 we began planting our first rows of corn. Throughout the next several months we would plant squash, zucchini, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, and cucumbers. Since then we have added pumpkins, garlic, onions, beets, carrots, lettuce, local peaches, berries, and apples. We have also added wildflower and sunflower bunches, local jams and jellies, pickles, relish, dilly beans, salsa and a lemonade stand run by my 11-year-old cousin. Since graduating college we have continued to run our farm stand, as it has been a great way to connect with and support the community. We sell pumpkins and corn to local stands and stores and donate to local charity events. For more information about the farm or To stay current with us, please follow us on Facebook
